Occurred on July 11, 2018 / South Lake Tahoe, California, USA
Info from Licensor: "While camping at DL Bliss state park at Lake Tahoe California, we were making dinner on July 11th, 2018 and spotted this large female black bear in the site next to us. After the video stopped, my friend ran towards the bear while banging a pot and the bear ran off. We reported it to the park ranger and they said that's a 3 year old female who was orphaned at 6 months old due to her mother getting killed by a car. Normally bears stay with mother for 2 years, so they didn't think the 6 month old bear would survive."
