Info from Licensor: "I was competing at a big meet in Chicago. I was pretty nervous about the meet because three days before the meet, my coach got fired! I was a senior in high school and already had committed to a school for college gymnastics. While doing my beam routine, I got to the end. To do my dismount, I was supposed to do a full, but when I took off, it didn’t feel right. Once I was in the air, I thought I got it, but tried to pull it and it was too late. I almost hit my face where the mat used to be. Also, the loud gasp was my mother who was crying when it happened. I didn’t cry because I had to get up and still salute the judges. I was able to shake it off and move on to the next event laughing about it!"
