Info from Licensor: "There were some big swells during high tide. On a Sunday when a lot of beginners are going out, surf shops should not be renting boards out to novice surfers who do not know where to go in and how to time the sets to safely go in. Not even experienced surfers would have tried getting out of the water at these stairs. Luckily, no one was seriously hurt. They just had scrapes, bruises, hurt egos and dinged surfboards were the result of these unfortunate individuals. These guys should not have even paddled out on this size of day."
