Info from Licensor: "After 2 hours of hiking, we encountered a couple that warned us their dogs had been spooked by an additional Timber Rattler about a mile down the trail and to be aware. About 20 minutes later we were about to turn a corner on the trail when I heard the rattle and witnessed the head poking out onto the trail. At this point I started recording and thankfully was able to catch the snake cross the path. I decided to stop foot traffic on the path until the snake was a safe distance off the path. Local DNR officials were surprised we were able to capture the snake on video due to the Timber Rattler being an endangered species and only having a total of 150 in the park."
