Info from Licensor: "Daisy is a rescue who has recently developed the early stages of degenerative myelopathy. This condition can cause symptoms of paralysis in an animal's hind legs and can be very debilitating and heart wrenching to watch. This past weekend, Tacoma/Seattle Washington was hit with a massive snowstorm. I noticed how much fun my other two Corgis were having in the snow, leaping and bounding through piles of fresh powder. It was then that I realized Daisy wasn’t having the same fun and told my husband “We need to take her sledding.” After a little trial and error, we created a Corgi sled, which was a vintage sled with a laundry basket tethered to it. We filled the basket with blankets, and after a little apprehension, Daisy was sniffing the wind, taking in the scenery and enjoying the ride. Her sisters Lucy and Jane even got in on the action and helped their dad Todd assist in the action. We love our dogs with all that we have and believe a good quality of life for them at all stages of their life is so important. I would love for this video to raise awareness to not forgot about the senior dogs. They need a little fun and excitement too."
