Freeing a Hooked Pelican

Occurred on February 22, 2021 / Sanibel Island, Florida, USA

Info from Licensor: While on Sanibel island, I saw a fisherman accidentally hook a pelican. He was struggling, so I went to help him free the bird. My wife videoed, and we got the hook off of the bird, and he flew away just fine.
