Removing the Pin Holding Toe Together After Chainsaw Accident

Info from Licensor: A week before Christmas, I cut my big Toe with a chainsaw.
I got rained off work so I went home to cut firewood. As I was ringing up some logs, my last back cut came through the log a bit faster than expected and into my boot through my big toe.
