Info from Licensor: This video made me feel so weird and I didn't know why until the internet agreed. Something about the way they all pop out at the same time. I've lived at the beach for 15 years and have never seen them do this. Coquina Clams filter feeding the sand. A sign of a healthy beach! They hang out in little patches on the shoreline and dramatically appear just as the waves are about to hit them. You can see their little feet sticking up before the shells pop out. After the wave hits, they burrow back down into the sand leaving their little feet still sticking up.
